One day, a cat approached me on the street, with the mission to write for him an adventure.

An adventure that would have nothing similar to it…

Why not? I thought and I decided to take up this challenge.

Soon, though, I found out that the endeavor proved very complicated in its simplicity. There was something very special about this cat…

So, from day

to night,

time was passing by, and with effort, attention, as well as patience, the story was acquiring more depth, atmosphere, and continuity

–always under the restless look of my inspirator–

who in random times came to my thoughts,

suggesting his own images and ideas to this effort.

Until someday the demanding venture was complete

and my thorough boss examined the outcome.

“Fast paced, mysterious, touching, looks like it has the magic that would fit my fascinating personality…” he mumbled before leaving for his night stroll.

After all the work, his crude remark took me by surprise. “Is that all you have to say?” I asked before he left hurriedly into the night. “And what am I supposed to do now with it?”

He turned and looked at me with a puzzling look.

“Why don’t you show it around, to see if others can see its magic?” he suggested soon before I lose him in the dark.

For a quite long time, the only thing I did in my surprise was to think of these last words, until I suddenly realized that it wasn’t a bad idea at all.

“Why not?” I mumbled, so here we are…
