This photo manipulation contest (‘Contest’) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions (‘Conditions’), and by entering the Contest (‘Entry’ or ‘Enter’ or ‘Entering’) you (‘Participants’) agree to be bound by them.

PHOTO AND INCLUDED DRAW-CREATION IMAGE:

A) If adult Participants wish to Enter the Contest, they can send 1 photo in which is included their own Draw-creation image, give it a name in the email text, and they will be immediately Entering the Contest.

B) If non-adult Participants wish to Enter the Contest, they can submit their entry via of either of their parents’ or guardians’ email, with the consent of both parents or all guardians. If any or both parents / any or all guardians wish not to reveal their username of facebook, or Instagram, or both, they can state it in the text of their sending email.

C) Pictures containing Draw-creation images of other adults, or non-adults, will not be accepted.

D) If the given name for the Participants’ Draw-creation, included in the email text of their Entry, identifies celebrities or other public figures, living or dead, it will not be included in the Contest.

ENTRY PERIOD:

I. The front book cover of “The Cat of Schrödinger Street” is revealed on the Organizer’s facebook and Instagram pages on Wednesday.

II. The Participants can email their Entry until Friday at 20:59 (UTC/GMT time zone).

WHO MAY ENTER:

I. The Contest is open to all people provided that they are able to Enter the Contest without breaching any law or regulation of the jurisdiction in which they are resident.

HOW TO WIN:

1. Only 1 Entry (1 email) per Participant is allowed each week.

2. As mentioned in the “Photo and included Draw-creation image” section, the Participants have to submit, via the photo that they have select to attach in their email, their own Draw-creation, with the purpose to create some company for the cat of “The Cat of Schrödinger Street” book cover, as it appears on facebook / Instagram social media of the Organizer on Wednesday.

3. The winning Entry photo, containing the winner’s Draw-creation, will be used to the photo manipulation process contacted by the Organizer.

4. The Entry must be submitted to the email address of the Organizer’s site (w.e.marcuse@gmail.com), with the title: DrawContest. Any costs associated with the use of the Participants’ email service provider will be the responsibility of the Participants, and Participants agree to be bound by their email service provider terms of use.

CONTENT OF ENTRY:

I. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any Participants submitting an Entry which, in the Organizer’s opinion and judgement, includes objectionable content, including –but not limited– to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images.

II. The Participants should not submit any pictures that could be deemed rude, or offensive, or that violate facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities (http://www.facebook.com/terms.php?ref=pf) or Instagram’s Terms of Use (https://help.instagram.com/478745558852511).

PERMISSION OF CONTESTANT:

By submitting an Entry the Participants confirm that, for the purpose of the Contest:

1. No other peoples’ Draw-creation image(s) –adults’ or non adults’– are included in the photo(s) they send for the contest.
2. The photo(s) containing the Draw-creation(s) of non adult(s) is submitted via of either of their parents’ or guardians’ email, with the consent of both parents or all guardians.

COPYRIGHT:

1. The Participants are free to use the copyright of the Draw-creation that they have used for their Entry, publicize, use, sell, etc. their productions in relation to any other contest or entities besides this Contest.

2. The Draw-creation have not been published previously and/or used to win prizes in other contests.

By submitting an Entry the Participants confirm that:

3. the photo and Draw-creation are original, they own it, and they are the sole copyright holders.

4. they have not licensed any rights for the photo and Draw-creation that will conflict with the usage rights, terms and Condition described above and below.

5. the submitted photo and Draw-creation: a) do not violate the rights of a third party or any copyright, b) do not include trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any other third person or entity, c) do not contain names, likenesses, or other characteristics identifying celebrities or other public figures, living or dead.

6. the generated picture, resulting from the photo manipulation process, will be property of the Organizer, for any use, regarding the Organizer’s social media actions and marketing purposes on facebook and Instagram.

7. they shall not own any intellectual property rights (including moral rights) to the produced photo manipulated picture, mentioned above, and accordingly agree to unconditionally waive all such rights.

By submitting an Entry, the Participants agree that the Organizer:

8. is not responsible for any copyright violating Entries. Any breach of copyright lies within the sole responsibility of the Participants.

9. The Organizer retains the exclusive right to select the winning Entry for the photo manipulation process by draw.

10. The photo manipulated composition will be created by the Organizer, according to the Organizer’s criteria and ideas for a best blend/fit result. The process includes the blending/fitting of the photo, containing the Draw-creation of the week’s winning Entry, near the cat of “The Cat of Schrödinger Street” book cover, as it appears on facebook / Instagram social media pages of the Organizer on Wednesay.

DELETION OF YOUR DATA:

I. The personal information and photo(s) provided by the Participants via email, shall only be used for the purposes of the week’s Contest (in which the Participants made their Entry).

II. All received emails for the purposes of the week’s Contest, will be deleted after the week’s winning Entry appears at the Organizer’s facebook and Instagram pages, on Monday 10:00 (GTM time zone), of the following week.

MISCELLANEOUS:

1. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend the Contest or the terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice.

2. The Organizer accepts no responsibility for Entries lost, damaged or delayed whether due to transmission errors, website malfunction, computer error or otherwise.

3. The Organizer accepts no responsibility for the actions of Participants who may Enter the Contest with a photo or/and Draw-creation which the Participants present as their own. Any breach of that kind and any relevant legal consequences lie within the sole responsibility of the Participants.

4. The Organizer accepts no responsibility for the actions of Participants who may Enter the Contest with a photo or/and Draw- creation including work of other adults or non adults. Any breaches of that kind and any relevant legal consequences lie within the sole responsibility of the Participants.

6. The Organizer accepts no responsibility for the actions of Participants who may Enter the Contest with a photo or/and Draw-creation that they falsely present as their own property. Any breaches of that kind and any relevant legal consequences lie within the sole responsibility of the Participants.

7. The Contest promotion, actions and results is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, facebook or Instagram.
